Website SEO Optimization Workflow | Identifying pages and keywords to improve

One of the lowest-hanging fruits in SEO is improving existing content. To do this manually, you need to constantly monitor the ranking of the pages via Google Search Console as an example and then find those pages that dropped in ranking and improve them. In reality, most companies ignore this and focus on generating new content. But now, with AI workflow, you can automate much of this. This post focuses on part 1, which identifies the pages ranking in the top 20 and matches them with the keywords to improve. Part 2 (which is a different post) will show how you can then automate the page content

Workflow details

The workflow helps identify which keywords drive traffic to specific pages and their performance metrics, enabling better SEO optimization decisions.

  1. Data Collection:

  • Grid Read retrieves page data with metrics like position, impressions, CTR, and clicks for various URLs

  • Knowledge Base Read fetches top keyword queries and their performance metrics from a knowledge base

  1. Keyword-Page Matching:

  • LLM analyzes both datasets and matches the most relevant keywords to each page URL, considering the page's position in search results

  1. Data Storage:

  • Grid Write saves the matched keyword-page pairs and their metrics to a grid for further analysis.
